Aeron secures contract with Green Yard Kleven for newbuild project for OMV Petrom

Aeron is proud to announce that we have been selected as the supplier of complete HVAC system for the new Field Support Vessel (MT6067), designed by Marin Teknikk and built by Green Yard Kleven for OMV Petrom S.A.

The vessel will support operations in the Neptun Deep project, Romania’s largest natural gas initiative and its first deepwater offshore development in the Black Sea.

With an emphasis on energy efficiency, reliability, and performance, Aeron’s HVAC solution is tailored to meet the demands of offshore operations. The system will provide climate control for all critical areas of the vessel, including accommodations, control rooms, and machinery spaces, ensuring comfort and operational efficiency.

The Field Support Vessel is being constructed at Green Yard Kleven, a shipyard renowned for its advanced shipbuilding capabilities and commitment to sustainability. Upon delivery, the vessel will play a pivotal role in supporting OMV Petrom’s offshore operations in the Neptun Deep field.

The 89.5-meter-long multihull vessel will feature a W2W (Walk-to-Work) gangway, an offshore crane, and accommodations for up to 90 people in single-occupancy cabins.

This project represents another milestone in Aeron’s mission to provide cutting-edge HVAC systems for the maritime and offshore industries, supporting the global transition to cleaner and more secure energy sources.
