We are excited to announce that we have been awarded an Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Installation (EPCi) contract to deliver comprehensive ventilation and cooling systems for TenneT’s offshore wind project. This groundbreaking project is set to supply electricity to 5 million households in the Netherlands and Germany.
Aeron will undertake detailed engineering, design, procurement, and assembly of the ventilation and cooling systems for the BalWin4 and LanWin1 offshore substations. Project planning is already underway, with equipment deliveries scheduled for 2025 and 2026. Following Aeron’s deliveries, the systems will be installed on the platforms at the shipyard before their offshore installation. The project is expected to be completed between 2029 and 2030.
In addition to these responsibilities, Aeron will also manage the service and maintenance of the systems until 2034, ensuring long-term efficiency and reliability.
This contract, valued at over MNOK 500, is the largest ever awarded to Aeron, marking a significant milestone in the company’s history and its commitment to advancing sustainable energy solutions.
Stay tuned for more updates on this transformative project as we move forward in delivering innovative solutions to the renewable energy sector.
