AF Aeron Mollier has changed name to Aeron. The ambition is to strengthen the position in an international market.

The company is a turnkey contractor of energy efficient Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration (HVAC-R) systems to offshore, marine, and land-based industry. Aeron design and deliver advanced energy efficient HVAC-R systems with a focus on safety and environmentally friendly solutions. These are critical operation systems since they provide reliable indoor climate/air quality with an energy efficient and stable operation at sea or offshore.

“We are operating in a global market where the Aeron-brand already has a strong position within its niche. By simplifying the name, our position towards our customer will be clearer in a market with strong competition. At the same time we are proud to be backed by the solid owner AF Gruppen”, says Morten Pettersen, Managing Director in Aeron.

Ventilation is Aeron’s core business. The name and the brand Aeron are inspired by the Greek word for air (Aero) and the English word “Air”. The logo and our brand are designed to illustrate our commitment to the customer and highlight the quality we aim to offer. The star symbolizes a ventilations system with a wide range of components. While the arrow at the top of the star represents the solutions we design and deliver.

AF Gruppen acquired Mollier in 2007 and Aeron in 2008. In 2015 the two companies merged and were later named AF AeronMollier. The new company name “Aeron” is the same as our self-invented product-line of HVAC-components, introduced to the market in 1997. In the beginning the HVAC- components were designed specifically for the marine industry. Mollier delivered similar HVAC- solutions for the offshore industry. After the two companies merged, the product-range increased, simultaneously widening its market reach.
